Who installs the security cameras?
In Texas, companies that sell, install or service camera systems that record footage must be licensed by the Department of Public Safety's Private Security program. Our camera systems are delivered by our DPS-licensed partner, [Security partner name, DPS Class B license #B-XXXXXX]. We coordinate the project and set up the network the cameras run on.
What does "AI" mean for the cameras?
The cameras use video analytics to tell people, vehicles and packages apart from things like shadows or swaying trees. That means fewer false alerts, faster searches of recorded footage, and notifications for activity after hours. We don't set up facial recognition. Who owns the footage, and where is it stored?
Your footage belongs to you. Depending on the system, it's stored on a recorder on-site, in the cloud, or both, and you control who can see it. [confirm storage & retention options]
Do you do plumbing or electrical work?
Not ourselves. Installing faucets, toilets, sinks and dishwashers is plumbing under Texas law, and new outlets or hardwired power is electrical work. Both require state licenses, so we bring in licensed partners and coordinate the job. We handle the non-plumbing bathroom and kitchen work directly, like grab bars, mirrors, dispensers and cabinet hardware, along with low-voltage network cabling.
What does IT support include?
For offices: day-to-day help desk, new-hire setups and offboarding. For homes: Wi-Fi coverage, device setup and home-office support. For both: device and software updates, printer and Wi-Fi issues, and on-site visits when something needs hands-on attention. [confirm remote vs. on-site hours and supported platforms]
How is pricing set?
Projects get a written, fixed-price quote based on your space and equipment. If the scope changes, we quote the change before doing the work. One-off jobs are billed hourly: $[X]/hr for IT and $[X]/hr for handyman work, with a [X]-hour minimum.
How does the monthly plan work?
You get a set number of IT and handyman hours each month, priority response and regular network security checks. Unused hours [roll over / don't roll over: decide]. Plans are [month-to-month / annual: confirm].
Can you work after hours or on weekends?
Yes. Many office buildings require installs after hours, and plenty of homeowners prefer evenings or weekends. We work around building and HOA rules, including freight elevators, loading docks and quiet hours. [confirm any after-hours rate]
Are you insured?
[Insurance details: add carrier, GL limits and workers' comp ONLY once policies are bound]
